Government of India Banned 59 Chinese Apps : including the most popular TikTok, SHAREit, Xender, Helo, UC Browser and Mi Community.
In the midest of the recent Ongoing clashes between India and China at the Line of actual control in Ladhakh region, the Government of India has decided to ban 59 Chinese apps.
The security and privacy risks of these apps were much higher because the data of Indian users of these apps would go to the servers of this Chinese apps company.
And On June 29, 2020, Indian Government Banned those 59 Chinese Apps in India.
The Government of India justified its move saying those 59 apps were not Safe and Secure for Indian user of these apps and those apps were harmful, risky, prejudicial and threat to india's sovereignty, integrity and national security.
